DISTRACTED DRIVING
Distracted Driving is the U.S. government website providing facts on distracted driving and find ways to get involved. Since 2009, the U.S. Department of Transportation has pushed for good laws, tough enforcement, and increased public awareness to help combat the deadly epidemic of distracted driving. These efforts are already paying dividends. Distracted Driving’s research shows that when these laws are enforced, distracted driving incidents go down. It will continue to build on the prog... ress achieved by the many anti-distracted-driving advocates across America, including the two million people who have visited its website. The platform will continue to fight to end distracted driving. Distracted Driving is counting on people around the country, students, parents, educators, and employers to make a pledge to drive distraction-free and encourage others to do the same.
