Donggkuk University in Los Angeles, California, works in conjunction with several Asian universities to offer advanced training in Oriental Medicine that integrates different modalities and clinical experience. Donggkuk University also teaches its classes in multiple languages. Donggkuk’s Los Angeles campus offers a master’s degree and a doctorate in Oriental Medicine, which integrates acupuncture, herbal treatments, Western medicine and Chinese massage therapy. Students also learn business... skills and ethics. The final phase of training is a clinical internship, which allows students to integrate and practice everything that they have learned. Donggkuk’s Los Angeles campus works with Donggkuk University in Asia, as well as other schools in China and Korea, to design the most relevant curriculum. Students also have the option of taking classes in English, Chinese or Korean. Admissions requirements include at least 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an undergraduate university. Applicants also need to submit an admissions application, transcripts, a personal statement, two letters of recommendation and a copy of their passport. Donggkuk University offers financial aid programs to students who meet the requirements. Eligible students may receive Pell grants, work-study or loans.
