Eastern International College began in 1990 as Micro Tech Training Center, a school that educated local professionals in computer use. In 1998, it changed its name and switched its emphasis from computer education to healthcare. The school now has two campuses, in Belleville and Jersey City. EIC currently offers Associate of Applied Sciences degrees for Nurses, Medical Assistants and Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. With all of its programs, Eastern International College’s goal is the same: to provide extensive hands-on experience for a career in health care. While job placement isn’t guaranteed, the Director of Employment Services will help you find entry-level career opportunities for your chosen profession. Employers often visit EIC for interviews, as well. The libraries and computer lab at Eastern International College are available after hours for additional study. In addition to the two full-time librarians, there are also tutors available for extra instruction at both the Belleville and Jersey City campuses. Regardless of your schedule, you should be able to find time for out-of-class practice.More
