All residential students also participate in Ecclesia’s work-learning program. This program assigns students to different jobs on campus and throughout the community. Students then use the money that they earn from their job to pay tuition costs. Students also get a work-learning mentor, who helps them to handle issues that emerge on the job in a practical and Christian manner. Another benefit of the work-learning program is that students graduate with professional work experience. Work-learning positions include positions in the admissions office, in information technology and in offices throughout the area. Students also participate in service learning. Service learning assignments include local and international ministry and volunteer work at local hospitals, charities and other facilities.
