Edge was founded by two ski enthusiasts out of the frustration at how aged the mountain experience was for the 100 million skiers globally. The fundamental technology behind the snowsports industry has changed very little in the past few decades, Edge looks to solve this. We want to create a connected mountain, one where vistors and technology work together. We provide a consumer oriented app that provides: - Tracking - Mapping - Resort Information (venues, weather etc..) - Challenges between y... our friends and brands The consumer facing app just represents the start. 400 million skier visits are made globally every year and for resorts its a constant battle to better understand their visitors. Edge solves this by providing resorts with a simple API, and in-app features such as SOS and promoted events, that gives them the ability to understand their visitors without the need for expensive infrastructure. Brands also have the ability to drive engagement through sponsored challenges.More
