EMI MUSIC

EMI Music is a British multinational music recording and publishing company, and electronics device and systems manufacturing company, headquartered in London, England. Its record labels included EMI Records, Parlophone, Virgin Records, and Capitol Records. EMI Group also had a major publishing arm, EMI Music Publishing, which is also based in London with offices globally. Electric and Musical Industries was formed in March 1931 by the merger of the Columbia Graphophone Company and the Gramophone Company, with its ""His Master's Voice"" record label, firms that have a history extending back to the origins of recorded sound. The new vertically integrated company produced sound recordings as well as recording and playback equipment.
