(EVI) has been formed to act as a technology integrator for battery and fuel cell development to bridge the gaps between research, product development, battery manufacturing and consumer requirements. EVI operates in the Portable Power market where the need for portable "on demand" power is growing at a rate that is in lockstep with technical advances in the electronics industry, radical changes in the global energy and communications infrastructure, economic growth in developing countries and climate change.
