Ergense manufactures smart microphones that combine machine learning acoustic algorithms. It is implemented by near-zero power integrated circuits – with miniature MEMS circuits. The devices are capable of monitoring changes in acoustic environments for years on a single battery charge. Similar existing products have limitations. Current smart microphones can be mistakenly activated because of conventional techniques. The more accurate digital signal processing method is relatively expensive....
