Greencoat Capital is a specialist asset manager dedicated to the resource efficiency and renewable energy sectors. ESB Novusmodus LP is a €200m cleantech fund. ESB, the leading Irish utility, is the sole investor in the fund and provides with a unique platform of support and know-how, allowing them to examine potential investments with a high level of technical rigour, and provide a significant and differentiating level of support for those companies within the portfolio. As well as direct u... tility perspective, Greencoat Capital gains from ESB's international reach, and standing as a state utility. They also regularly leverage expertise from ESB's dedicated teams in Wind, EV, Biomass, Wave, Smart Grid, Smart Meter, ESCO, and other core utility sectors. They pass on these benefits to the fund's portfolio companies. ESB's aim is to provide capital, support, and knowledge to enterprises in the clean energy and energy efficiency sectors, exploiting the commercial opportunities brought about by a large scale transition to a low carbon global economy. Their team is based in London, Dublin and Munich, and they have a global mandate with a European focus.
