ESCUELA COLOMBIANA DE INGENIERíA
On October 20, 1972, when the act of incorporation of the Colombian School of Engineering Julio Garavito was signed, an ambitious educational project was initiated whose objective was to train engineers of excellence. First the civil engineering program was born, then the electrical and systems ones came; subsequently, once the School held a deserved position of honor among the country's higher education institutions, the industrial and electronic engineering and economics programs were included. In 2002 the Board of Directors approved the creation of the business administration program, in 2003 the Mathematics program began work, in 2009 Mechanical Engineering, in 2011 Biomedical Engineering and in 2016 Environmental Engineering.
