Founded in 1971 by the German pharmaceutical company MADAUS, EUROMED S.A. is a leading producer of standardized herbal extracts and natural active substances for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food and cosmetic industries. Annually more than 5,000 tons of biomass are extracted at our manufacturing plants in Mollet del Vallès (Barcelona) and Molina de Segura (Murcia), Spain. The botanical raw material is subjected to strict selection and examination in accordance with GACP (Good Agricultura... l and Collection Practices) guidelines. Their new production plant in Murcia, Spain further expands our capabilities with eco-friendly technologies utilizing sophisticated water-based extraction methods. Their extracts are in compliance with worldwide GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) norms, international pharmacopoeias and international regulations. All extracts are manufactured according to methods adopted and validated by EUROMED. These include inspections to guarantee the highest quality standards from an analytical, chemical and therapeutic aspect, and apply our longstanding expertise indifferent fields for example: research and development, laboratory analyses, processes and technologies.
