EVANGELICAL SEMINARY

Evangelical Seminary is an interdenominational seminary and graduate school established in 1953 and accredited by Middle States and the Association of Theological Schools. In partnership with the church, Evangelical develops servant leaders for transformational ministry in a broken and complex world by nurturing rigorous minds, compassionate hearts and Christ-centered actions. Evangelical offers a strong, open academic foundation in a supportive, student-friendly environment with faculty scholar... s who are readily available and concerned for their student's academic success and spiritual development. The student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 10:1. Degree offerings include the Master of Divinity (with a variety of tracks); the Master of Arts in Religion (with seven different concentrations depending upon your academic and vocational plans); Marriage and Family Therapy (a counseling degree which leads to state licensure), and short-term Graduate Certificates (in Youth Ministry, Lay Ministry, Marriage and Family Counseling and World Christianity). The twelve-acre campus includes on-campus housing; stately Christ Hall, the main campus facility; the Pense Archaeological Museum; the elegant Dech Memorial Chapel; a fitness room; Rostad Library; counseling centers (for clinical experience); smart technology in each classroom; and campus hot spots for w ireless access. Classes are available online and in person. A Master of Arts in Christian Leadership, a cohort-based, hybrid model, graduate degree is in process of state approval and is planned to be offered in the fall 2012.More
