FAIRMONT STATE UNIVERSITY

Known to many as “the college on the hill,” Fairmont State University (located on a scenic hillside in West Virginia) has been educating students for over a century. The university’s main campus is located in Fairmont, but there is also a branch campus in Clarksburg (the Gaston Caperton Center). FSU has a partnership with Pierpont Community and Technical College in order to offer its students more extensive academic offerings. It is recognized for its comprehensive programs in aviation education, and is within close proximity to the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center.
