The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, New York, is an internationally renowned school for design, fashion, business, art and communications. Academics include a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. Some undergraduate fields of study include Advertising and Marketing, Fashion and Related Industries and Textile/Surface Design. Graduate students may enroll in programs like Illustration, Exhibition Design and Global Fashion Management. Admissions require students to complete a SUNY application. These are available online through the SUNY Application Services Center. An official high school transcript or GED and personal essay must also be sent. Art and Design applicants must also submit a portfolio. Tuition is set lower for New York residents. Students who file a FAFSA may be eligible to receive financial aid through scholarships, federal grants, student loans and work study programs.More
