The technical side of finetunes’ operations works to process audio content and metadata for accurate and fast distribution via the internet. We supply audio content in all the formats required by partners – including MP3, OGG, AAC, ATRAC, WMA etc. We also supply metadata which includes crucial release information such as artist, trackname, barcodes, details of rights owners, artwork and release descriptions. Our metadata also contains specific and highly-adjustable right information – enabling detailed territory and store mapping, as well as allowing for DRM-arrangements. All this information is compiled using finetunes’ self-developed mass-encoding software. finetunes also offers complete whitelabel-shop solutions for artists, labels, companies and portals. The licensee of the shop-technology has access to the whole of finetunes’ distribution content, as well as access to content from other labels (both majors and indies), and online distributors.
