EARTHVIEWS
EarthViews uses a custom-built automated mobile mapping system that captures thousands of 360 degree panoramic images above and below the water, creating virtual tours of entire rivers, coasts and shores to help people better understand and communicate about aquatic environments. EarthViews tours are a platform for information exchange. Add information and share your ideas and experiences at the virtual location where they occurred - from an intuitive, water-level perspective. To make this possi... ble EarthViews provides tools for extracting, indexing and analyzing waterway data collected by us and others that is then layered into the imagery. EarthViews tours are hosted in the Cloud for High Availability, enhanced scalability and global access - an evolving Internet of Waterways. EarthViews can also deliver content to operate locally on a stand-alone computer, office network or virtual environment. By creating online virtual waterscapes, EarthViews delivers immersive experiences of waterways that enable science, conservation and recreation uses.
