FLOW FORWARD MEDICAL
Flow Forward Medical develops vascular access sites designed to improve post-surgery success rates. The Arteriovenous Fistula Eligibility (AFE) System is a small, temporary, external blood pump designed to stimulate flow-mediated dilation to make more patients eligible for arteriovenous fistula (AVF) and increase success rates after surgery. The establishment of a reliable AVF reduces morbidity and mortality in hemodialysis patients, as well as the overall cost of care. The company was founded in 2014 by Frank Nicholas Franano and is headquartered in Olathe, Kansas.
