Aviation requires quick decision making and to do this; one needs to have all the relevant information at their fingertips. Team synchronicity is invaluable. From that seed, the idea for FltCtrl was sown. Using the latest technology, FltCtrl has also started Flock.aero, a Community Driven Aviation Directory that aims to give aircraft operators and suppliers the power to connect and succeed in their business. At its very core Flock is a community-based global online directory of airports, FBOs, ground handlers, and providers which can be accessed by the business aviation industry free of charge. Feedback from 250 operators suggests many paid-for directories remain static, leading to an abundance of out-of-date information. Furthermore, it seems updating incorrect information frequently involves a laborious process relying on third-party input. Flock has been designed to avoid these everyday inconveniences by allowing aviation professionals to expand, correct and update the information in its databases. The directory also includes a ‘Subscription’ feature, which will enable users to receive notifications anytime something changes on a specific profile. The new platform, which is being continuously verified, provides a comprehensive source of business information for aviation professionals, but also much more. Operators can surf all the data on Flock free-of-charge, and in the rare case that they are unable to find the information they are looking for, or require any help - Flock has a dedicated support team that is always available for all inquiries. Suppliers are also able to claim their profiles for free as well, which gives them the ability to manage their content and increase their exposure among Flock users.More
