FLTDUTY XLS
FLTDUTY is a scheduling software program designed for the Canadian commercial pilot. The program will record the pilot's schedule and make calculations to show current status with respect to the CARs (Canadian Aviation Regulations) in terms of accumulated flight time, flight duty time and rest. All entries are checked against the CARs requirements Part VII for Commercial operations, Division II, for compliance and for options available under the Standards. The program operates as if Operation... s Specifications 092, 093 and 094 are in effect and automatically applies the Standards. (If this is not the case, then limits will be more restrictive and you can set this condition within the program.) The program can be used by operators with a multi-pilot staff as well as individual pilots in any type of operation or any combination of flight operations. FLTDUTY XLS was produced by Eric Bradley over an extended period from February 1997 in response to the new CARs introduced in October 1996. Eric is an Airline Transport rated pilot. The software development and support is a hobby that appears to have a life of its own.
