Footprint, Anywhere at Anytime Footprint is a multipurpose transport-booking app for customers and businesses. The uniqueness of the app lies in its ability to allow users to book taxis, auto-rickshaws, car shares, and MUVs for both intercity and intra-city transfers, either for an immediate or a future scheduled pickup. Footprint will be the first app to successfully implement intercity taxi bookings through an app at a very affordable price. We will tap into the large unorganized market in I... ndia to cater to the ever-increasing demand for taxi and auto-rickshaw bookings. India’s transportation unorganized market is composed of several small-scale cab and auto-rickshaw companies (usually comprised only of 5 to 10 cabs/ auto-rickshaws), a small percentage of individual owners (that make up only 15% of the entire market share), and drivers that rent a cab/auto-rickshaw. The unorganized sector accounts for over 90% of the entire market thus consisting of over 206 million auto-rickshaw rides per day and million of registered cabs.
