A multiple award winner, FRUU is a pioneering cosmetics company that specializes in turning fruit by-products into sustainable cosmetics. Masses of unwanted products are produced worldwide from fruit farming and the fruit processing industry. At the same time, the majority of the cosmetics are made from unsustainable petrochemicals and water/land/carbon intensive natural materials. FRUU was started as an initiative to add value to the by-products/waste products produced in the agricultural wa... ste stream, reduce the use of resources intensive materials, whilst providing affordable sustainability to the mass. Started from the spare room of founders Terence Chung and Kelly Yee in 2016, we are projected to be stocked in 1000+ stores by the end of 2019. We hope to transform the way we think about our resources and make sustainability an accessible lifestyle.
