Galilee Seeds specializes in the development and production of corn hybrid seeds. Galilee Seeds is an Israeli registered limited company, located in the northern part of Israel (Upper Galilee). Currently, Galilee Seeds is seeking collaborators to distribute and market its products, globally. Galilee Seeds was the first to develop commercial HOC single cross hybrids. The grain of Galilee Seeds High Oil Content varieties contains 100% more oil and 10% more protein and metabolized energy versus co... rn #2. Furthermore, field tests have shown that HOC hybrids yield is highly competitive with any other conventional corn varieties under various climate conditions. Those qualities allow seed companies, growers and producers of premix (for livestock feeding) benefit a premium over corn #2 prices, by a replacement of expensive energy sources (e.g., fat in poultry feeding), with HOC grains. In addition, HOC varieties have excellent nutritional value and produce a high yield of Dry Matter (DM), thus alternatively can be harvested for silage.
