GEO UNIVERSITY
GEO University is a registered company in Tallinn, Estonia, founded in February 2018. Its goal is to transfer knowledge to students, professionals, and scientists that want to enhance their background in the fields of Earth Observation (EO), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and Space applications through continuous learning, or get solutions to geospatial problems. GEO University started as an e-learning platform, providing self-paced online courses on EO and GIS. Currently, it collaborat... es with experts on several fields, i.e. GIS, webGIS, Multispectral/ Hyperspectral EO, Cloud Processing, etc. Apart from an e-learning platform, GEO University launched two new services in 2020: Geo HUB and Training HUB. Geo HUB offers practical solutions and consulting to individuals/companies that need to integrate GIS/EO practices into their existing workflows. Through the Training HUB, GEO Uni offers other companies/institutions tailored training and workshops on GIS and EO topics.
