So it should be super easy for you to access specific talent you are looking for in Chennai, right? Wrong! Tens of thousands of talented people in Chennai are present in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and more. But try finding a graphics artist (an individual, not a company) located near you, and you will hit a roadblock. ... In fact, such a graphics artist could be living right in your street, but it is not possible to identify him or her using today’s platforms. But how can a person find such locally available talent? This is the gap that GeoDig is trying to bridge. The platform, launched for Chennai to begin with, enables those looking for individual talent in arts & crafts, music, computer programming, electronics, acting and languages to get opportunities from nearby towns. Or a talented artist could get opportunities from companies in the same town looking for developing logos and web pages. You get the idea.
