Gidimediacity, an entertainment company, is changing the Nigerian entertainment industry by creating a web application that allows artists to upload their content for free and get paid from the people streaming and downloading said content. The company aims to create an environment in which entertainers can find a direct route to their fans, decreases piracy and cuts down on marketing cost.
