Food
As AMMA started beckoning her children to Jillellamudi in mid 50’s the blueprint for the House of All started taking shape and as the number of children grew, an independent kitchen—‘Annapurnalayam’ emerged in 1958, relieving the burden on Nageswararao garu (Amma’s husband) who was a village head. ‘Annapurna’ stands for the deity (presiding deity in Varanasi) serving food to her children.
Shelter
The following important decisions were taken by Sree Viswajanani Parishat in its executive committee meeting held on 25-07-2009.To start Adaranalayam temporarily in three rooms in the ground floor of “Panchami” – the Madras guest house. Provision of an attendant to attend to the routine daily needs of the occupants there itself without any necessity for them to come to Annapurnalayam.
Education
Years ago in the beginning of the seventies in the 20th century, AMMA conceived Matrusri Oriental College and Sanskrit Pathasala, (school). This school admits the children for their school education, eventually making them eligible to join the College when they complete their schooling. At the College, they can complete graduation, the degree course either in Telugu or Sanskrit.
