About Us

Following our reopening in 2021, incredible progress has been made to modernize The CJN. A not-for-profit, award-winning media organization, The CJN continues to offer a unique and varied approach to journalism on a daily basis—at no cost to our audience—through multimedia storytelling and reporting, ensuring our audience is accurately informed when news breaks.

Please consider supporting us by making a tax-deductible donation. As a thank-you, we will deliver our quarterly print magazine to your door at no cost.

Our Mission

To create, curate and foster an exchange of Jewish perspectives, debate and thought leadership that will allow our audience to explore and identify with Jewish life in Canada.

Our Vision

To bring the Jewish community together by offering a unique and engaging omnichannel platform whereby The Canadian Jewish News becomes a routine source of information within every Jewish Canadian household.

The Canadian Jewish News endeavors to be Canada’s leading source for local, national and international information impacting the Jewish community. The CJN will strive to expand its reach nationally while growing awareness and engaging with the next generation of Jewish readers, listeners and influencers.

To keep up to date on The CJN, please sign up for our free newsletter or subscribe to one of our many podcasts on Apple, Spotify or any other streaming platform.

Support the Media that Speaks to You

Jewish Canadians deserve more than social media rumours, adversarial action alerts, and reporting with biases that are often undisclosed. The Canadian Jewish News proudly offers independent national coverage on issues that impact our audience each day, as a conduit for conversations that bridge generations.

It’s an outlet you can count on—but we’re also counting on you.

Please support Jewish journalism that’s creative, innovative, and dedicated to breaking new ground to serve your community, while building on media traditions of the past 65 years. As a Registered Journalism Organization, contributions of any size are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
