Avoid!

Avoid!
Have ordered for 10 years. Not sure what the hell is happening with them but will never order again.
£900 worth of stock and only around £100 has arrived.
1st week of January ordered and still no response.
Phone numbers no longer work and emails bank back or unanswered.
Avoid!

under administration???

I have been placing orders with Delights Direct for over a decade and this is the first time my parcel has not arrived. I paid for next day delivery and it was meant to be here last week. I have been charged and not only have I not received anything, the phone lines have been cut and no replies from the email address advised on the website. It appears the company has gone into administration but some warning would have been really nice. It would have been even nicer if they were not taking money for orders they cannot deliver on. Please spread the word not to order through this company currently.

absolutely terrible service and products

absolutely terrible service, helium is not 100% helium, literally floats balloons for about an hour and cant even hold up a foil one so dont waste your money! when speaking to them they basically said oh well........ will never use this company again

Tried to open a trade account

Tried to open a trade account. Been waiting almost a week despite website saying approval same day. No replies to any emails, no phone number. I was looking to launch a new range and was budgeting £5k for the initial order.
I guess they don't need any new business.

Absolutely horrific

Absolutely horrific

After using delights for over a year, recently their service has gone completely downhill. I use them to operate my busy party decor & balloon artistry business, however they are completely unreliable.

They offer a ’next day’ delivery service. However at the moment you’re lucky if you receive it the next week.

Staff are completely useless and rude. They’ve now lost a very loyal customer.

Unreliable and unprofessional

I placed an order for next day delivery on 6th August, the order was never shipped, I sent several emails and got no response, I did however received a response on 21st August after I had informed them I would be taking further action to receive a refund. Completely unreliable. They didn’t offer an apology or an explanation as to why my order was never shipped. I’ve ordered previously and this is the first time I’ve had any issues with them, unfortunately I can’t take the risk to order from them again.

Customer service at its best

Absolutely fabulous service from this company. Had to get an order really quickly due to some over enthusiastic usage of party props at a function by the guests. Quick, easy and a pleasure to deal with. Fab prices too. Highly recommended

Only given one star as there's no option to give less

Only given one star as there's no option to give less......Have used the company a few times and never had any issues. However, we did encounter our first issue with just not being notified of out-of-stock items and just sending the order out with missing elements, however, I did manage to speak to someone at the time and they were friendly and helpful and I got a refund. The second issue was my delivery just didn't turn up after paying the extra £4.95 for next day delivery, again luckily I got through to speak to someone and they advised me "to order days earlier with next day delivery to help guarantee delivery on time", didn't seem to understand I paid for next day delivery to get the delivery on time and if I ordered earlier I would be ordering to avoid paying next day delivery costs. The third and final issue is now ongoing, I placed my order Tuesday morning with next-day delivery which has now been increased to £8.75, however, my delivery did not turn up and I am still waiting for a reply from either Delights Direct or Party Delights whichever they choose to be today. No phone number in service, no replies, and no website options to track the delivery. AVOID at All costs! don't waste your time and money on this terrible company!

I have used delights direct for my business for a number of months. They are absolutely fabulous!

If I ever have any queries, one of their helpful representatives will reply within a day. If I have had any issues with my order or postage, they are prompt to reply and help. I cannot fault their service.

My go to Party Wholesaler!

Worst company ever

Used this company for a few years now but the last 6 months it’s really gone down hill.
No order confimation or no despatch confirmation so you’ve got to chase orders up and the big issue for me is the way they are packaging the orders into several boxes eg order 240 sticker you expect them to come in 2 packs of 120 stickers but they are putting around 20 stickers into boxes and sending them out like that. Few weeks ago I ordered 600 different mini jigsaws and they were just chucked into a box with everything else and most of the pieces come from the jigsaw frame. Shocking service. Had an order turn up today with just part of my order and had to chase it up and they clearly didn’t read my full order otherwise it would have been shipped together.
Company is run by a pack of toddlers as nothing is right . I will not order from here again

Useless Customer Service from Katie

Told them i had things missing out of my order, after a week of chasing they finally agreed. But by then too late to send replacements out. Wasted lots of my time. Also everything is just chucked in a box and shipped. So some things were damaged

No response to emails ref missing orders

To the service department at Delights Direct, have been a trade customer for over 10 years and I am fully aware of the challenges that exist at the moment but not being able to communicate with a supplier is far from ideal.

I have no choice but add a one star review because the order i placed on the 18th July has not been received, and despite sending several emails to the trade email i have had no response.
