#PostOfTheWeek Clean energy deployment is growing at an impressive pace, largely driven by falling prices. But as evidenced by the Global Energy Storage and Grids Pledge at COP29, this momentum risks stalling if countries do not pay careful attention to building a fit-for-purpose energy grid centered on affordability and resilience. Our latest article by Robert Youngs examines four key challenges related to renewable energy integration and how countries leverage innovative solutions to get to “Grid 2.0.” https://buff.ly/40iUNbR #CleanEnergy #RenewableEnergy #DAIClimateSolutions Jette Findsen Jeanne Ellis Jane Clifford

Happy New Year from Kosmos Innovation Center!

DAI's William Grant recently presented a devaluation report to industry experts and some key players in the agriculture sector where he revealed findings from the analysis conducted on the impact of the devaluation policy on agriculture in #Nigeria. Following the devaluation policy in 2023 by the Nigerian federal government as well as external factors like the Russia/Ukraine war and COVID-19, the agricultural sector suffered a profound impact, especially on smallholder #farmers and selected value chains. Now in 2024, food inflation reached 40 percent with the prices of food doubling between four and six months on average. The recommendations from the meeting will form the final report.
