Adzuna is live across 20 countries globally!

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve added four new countries to our portfolio of job search websites.

Adzuna is now live in SwitzerlandBelgiumSpain, and Mexico. This means we now operate across 20 markets globally, reaching tens of millions of jobseekers and indexing over 15 million jobs every month!

This isn’t the only project we’ve been working away on. We’re happy to announce the renewal of our contract to run ‘Find a job’, the UK Government’s online jobs portal.

Find a job connects millions of jobseekers with thousands of employers online and through job centres around the UK and is one of the largest and most used online government services. At Adzuna, we’re proud to have provided the service for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) since being selected in a competitive procurement process in 2018 and this renewal extends our partnership.

Fast, simple and powerful job search

Find a job offers a fast, simple and powerful search experience using Adzuna’s technology, matching jobseekers to available roles quickly and effectively. The service lists over 200,000 jobs from verified employers and features a suite of security-enhancing tools, including automated fraud checks and National Minimum Wage salary validation. Jobseekers can search, favorite and apply for jobs, set up email alerts, view their activity history and much more. Jobseekers can also search for and filter over 20,000 jobs listed by employers who are part of the Disability Confident scheme, matching them with more inclusive employers who are focusing on supporting disabled talent.

A survey of 987 jobseekers conducted in August 2021, found that 75% of users found a job through Find a job, and that 17% more disabled jobseekers use the platform compared to private sector websites.

DWP pilots Adzuna’s AI career matching tool

Our good news doesn’t stop there! We’ve also been awarded a contract with DWP to pilot our AI-powered CareerPaths tool with Universal Credit claimants in job centers across the UK. The tool helps jobseekers understand viable future career paths based on the career trajectories of millions of others, matching jobseekers to new industries and live jobs based on their experience and skills.

Here’s what the UK’s Minister for Employment and our CEO Doug had to say about our news:

Minister for Employment, Mims Davies MP said: “Our Find a Job portal is helping thousands of jobseekers get into work, or secure their next role, and I’m delighted we’re continuing our partnership with Adzuna to deliver this vital tool.”

Doug Monro, CEO and co-founder of Adzuna, comments: “We’re delighted to be retained by the Department for Work and Pensions as the chosen service provider for Find a job. Our mission is to use the power of technology to match people to better, more fulfilling jobs and keep the world working and our partnership with the UK government forms a key part of that goal in Britain. We’re thrilled to continue using our smart tech to make job search better for jobseekers the world over.”
