A new investment app promising users easy access to ethical investments is set to launch following protracted delays triggered by the Ukraine war and NSW flooding, after its founders met a decade ago during a successful campaign against a coal mine.

Peter Bennetto and Patrice Newell met while defending the NSW Hunter Valley’s water supply from ecological damage, and are among environmental activists whose actions prompted then-premier Kristina Keneally to reject the Bickham coal mine proposal.
