University of Birmingham partners with Edtech specialists to launch two new online master's programs

2U Partners have brought their expertise to aid the launch of online postgraduate courses in Strategic Marketing and Digital Media & Global Communication

Two new MAs in the Colleges of Arts and Law and Social Sciences – Master of Arts Digital Media & Global Communication and Master of Science Strategic Marketing Practice – have been launched with the first cohorts beginning their education in March 2025. The courses were made possible through a partnership with 2U Partners, a leader in the Edtech field.

The newly launched online programs are designed to meet the increasing global demand for accessible, industry-focused education in rapidly evolving sectors. These programs empower learners with cutting-edge skills and knowledge to build and enhance meaningful careers.

The MA in Digital Media & Global Communication offers students hands-on expertise and critical insights to thrive in media, communications, and the creative industries. It bridges theoretical understanding with practical application, preparing graduates for diverse roles in a globalized media landscape.

Similarly, the MSc in Strategic Marketing Practice cultivates strategic, creative, and ethical marketing acumen. This program equips graduates to navigate and lead in today’s fast-paced, competitive marketing environment, ensuring they can drive impactful strategies with confidence and innovation.
