In 2015, Xiong Minglei founded robotics startup ROBOSEA in Beijing. The company, which focuses on underwater scenarios, has developed several models for both consumer and professional uses. For example, its fish-shaped BIKI robot has a two-hour battery life and sports a 1,600-pixel camera for underwater photography, while the robo shark is equipped with autonomous cruising systems and can help to map underwater environments. In June 2018, ROBOSEA raised its latest round of funding led by China's Lianshi Capital.
