TG Manufacturing expands capabilities with Turnkey Fabrication purchase

Sept. 11, 2019
Turnkey Fabrication is an integrated fabrication operation with laser cutting, auto-feed laser, CNC brake press, machining, assembly, and robotic welding process capabilities.

Metal fabrication services provider TG Manufacturing (TGM; Grand Rapids, MI) has acquired Turnkey Fabrication (also located in Grand Rapids), an integrated fabrication operation with laser cutting, auto-feed laser, CNC brake press, machining, assembly, and robotic welding process capabilities. The company is headquartered in a 55,000-sq-ft. facility and currently supplies customers in the gaming, industrial laboratory, and defense industries, among others.

Turnkey Fabrication will become a division of TGM's Craft Steel operations in Byron Center, MI, says Rich Achtenberg, TGM's CEO.

Using TGM's global network, advanced manufacturing technology, and quality systems and integrating them into Turnkey Fabrication's process capability and access to new markets will drive a stronger organization. Turnkey Fabrication will focus on its integration and assembly of electrical gaming products and outsource its fabrication to TGM, according to Turnkey Fabrication CEO Les Onan.

TGM, Craft Steel, and Turnkey Fabrication management teams are working together to integrate Turnkey Fabrication's operations and employees into the TGM-Craft Steel operation.
