The Culture and Technology Conference, promoted by the Aveiro City Hall, took place last Friday and featured our General Manager, Paulo Firmeza, as one of the panelists. Paulo Firmeza participated in the discussion panel on the impact of new technologies on the professional landscape, alongside Dora Martins, Professor at ISCAP-IPP, and Pedro Santos, Vice-President of ACEPI - Digital Economy Association. In his speech, he highlighted the challenges that new technologies bring to companies in terms of security and adaptability, addressing the robustness of cybersecurity structures developed at Altice Labs to support these innovations. He also stressed the importance of #reskilling employees to align with new market needs, focusing more on strategic and creative activities and less on routine tasks that new technologies can now handle.
