Here are seven key questions to ask yourself before planning your career growth in 2025: 1) What are my long-term career aspirations? Define your vision for the next 5–10 years to guide your immediate decisions. 2) What skills or experiences did I gain in 2024, and how can I leverage them? Reflect on your growth and identify opportunities to build on your achievements. 3) What areas do I need to improve to reach the next level in my career? Acknowledge skill gaps or weaknesses and plan for professional development. 4) How aligned is my current role with my values, passions, and goals? Consider whether your current path resonates with your personal and professional purpose. 5) Who can I network with or learn from to advance my career? Identify mentors, colleagues, or industry leaders who can provide guidance or opportunities. 6) What trends or changes in my industry should I prepare for in 2025? Stay informed about emerging technologies, market shifts, or evolving skills in your field. 7) How will I measure success and stay motivated throughout the year? Set clear, actionable goals and establish benchmarks to track your progress. Answering these questions will help you create a focused and adaptable plan for meaningful career growth in 2025. #yearofgrowth #successmindset #careergrowth #careersuccess

Grateful for moments like this during 2024! I spoke at the BYP Network Leadership Conference on a panel sponsored by Fitch Group, Inc. We discussed how to advance your career as a black professional! I shared key strategies including, be the CEO of your own career! Cultivate a growth mindset and remember to network and keep learning! Earlier in my career, we didn’t have a network for black professionals and leaders! Some skeptics may say, we don’t need them. With many companies scaling back their DEI, it’s critical to prioritise your own career advancement! As you step into 2025, find your tribe/your network and make sure that your are prioritising your growth and your health! Enjoy this video summary of my day at the BYP Conference in September! I loved connecting with Kike Oniwinde Agoro Mahari Hay Melissa Cloquet, MBA Veronica Dennis Lee Chambers Emmanuel Asuquo Dhosjan Greenaway-Dalini, MBA Elliott Rae (Kings honours list 2025…congrats)! One Love ❤️

Can I be honest...I end the year with GRATITUDE... I started last year trying to find myself again after watching my mother extremely ill and navigating months in recovery. I'm so thankfully she is alive and I'm beyond grateful to God for her life. By April, I slowly started to get my grove back and be intentional about the communities I am in. In 2020, I launched a monthly DEI network for Black and Brown professionals - aimed at knowledge sharing, accelerating our growth personal and professionally and creating a safe space to nurture our well-being. I am so grateful for this group more than they even know. In march, I joined the *Learn as We Rise* set up by Hannah Awonuga and Winnie Annan-Forson - aimed at celebrating, championing and encouraging ourselves to succeed In June, I joined the *Senior Black Women in HR network* set up by Irene Asare Tola Oloyede and Bukola Bayo-Yusuf MBA MSc CIPD - aimed at celebrating and empowering Black women in HR I also restarted my *Mum and me* community - aimed at supporting mothers navigate the different seasons of life in good well-being Community is so important... They edify you and allow you to just BE in a space where everyone wants each other to succeed in life. As a working mother in HR & DEI... These communities have been so important in keeping myself accountable to my growth and are a space of safety. Growth is important but it doesnt only come in the battles we face but also when we allow ourselves to find peace and joy... its where perspective deepens. This year has been a real mix of pressure, joy, opportunity and peace... it reminds me of the scripture Proverbs 16:9 AMP: A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them. The last few months has been a testament of that... I have found so much peace in trusting and having faith that God will work it out and he has... There is no easy road in life but as I reflect on things it has been an amazing year... One of my biggest highlights was becoming a FELLOW CIPD and becoming a Non- Executive Director The other was all the incredible opportunities, panels and hosting events, dinners, podcasts, roundtable to connect, grow and share... Special thanks to.. .BYP Network... The Inclusive Workplace King's College London King's Business School HR Grapevine TNON - The Network of Networks Tolu Afelumo CIPD Diversity Network and more... I look forward to many more speaking and hosting opportunities in 2025... To my mentors, sponsors and advocates... Thank you... To my dear friends and loved ones... Im grateful 2024 - My year of Gratitude #CanIbeHonest #Gratitude #Speaker #HR #DEI #People #Culture #Change #Growth

Reflecting on the transformative journey of 2024, I'm immensely grateful to God, my mentors, family, friends, colleagues and my beautiful team. Here are some celebratory Q4 highlights: 🔶 I was recognized as the Top Global Sales Development Manager for Gartner's End User large enterprise for October and November. A huge thank you to my inspiring colleagues Javier Escolano, Niamh Morgan and Bridget Copeland-Sinclair, and my ever supportive manager, Jordanne Beeby. 🔶 We launched Gartner's Black Employee Network (BEN) UK, where I will be BEN UK Chapter Lead alongside Dwight Toussaint. I look forward to making a significant impact in 2025 and beyond, fostering a sense of belonging and a thriving professional environment for Gartner's Black employees. Collaborating with Yasmine Shirwa, Oliver Gnandi, and Demi S. to amplify this impact is truly exciting. We were also featured on Inside Gartner for our UK Black History Month coffee chat, where we celebrated our heritage and uniqueness alongside our US colleagues Antoine (A.J.) Johnson Brianna Jones Megan Cadd 🔶 During Gartner's UK Black History Celebration, I had the privilege of being on a panel with Oliver Gnandi and Sephora Amlan Boateng, engaging in meaningful conversations about our professional journeys and how we have navigated success. A big thank you to Charlotte Burke, Hannah Tuck, and Yasmine Shirwa for these opportunities. 🔶 After a successful PIE Framework roundtable led by Jags Bahra at the BYP Network's Career Fest and Leadership Conference in September, I invited him to coach our SDP GTS associates on enhancing their personal and professional brand visibility through the PIE application . Thank you, Jags Bahra, for your impactful session, which received incredibly positive feedback from our associates. 🔶 Lastly, it is so heart warming to see my work being featured across Gartner's careers LinkedIn and Instagram pages, highlighting a fulfilling and impactful year. Here's to an exciting 2025 filled with stretch opportunities and greater heights! #lifeatgartner #professionaldevelopment #leadershipdevelopment #womenintechsales #diversity #inclusion #equity #personaldevelopment
