I am excited to share that I have officially stepped down as the CEO and transitioned into the Executive Chairman role at Ox! The past 5.5 years have been an immensely transformative journey. I founded this company while I was still an Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech, and I’m extremely proud of everything we have accomplished together. Ox has grown into a critical part of supply chain infrastructure, ensuring that food, consumer packaged goods, healthcare and automotive supplies are delivered on time and efficiently across the country. We help our customers ship over $8,000,000,000 worth of goods every year. We’ve raised over $16M in venture funding with exceptional investors like BBG Ventures, MaC Venture Capital, Cortado Ventures & AOL Founder Steve Case's Revolution, among many others! We’ve been featured on industry-leading publications such as the The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Insider & Forbes, and as of a few months ago, we had our first billboard in Times Square With our Series A behind us and a strong foundation in place, it felt like the perfect time to bring in additional expertise to guide Ox into the next phase of growth. In April 2024, Christopher Halkyard joined us as Chief Operations Officer. Chris is a seasoned and respected executive— he is the former Chief Supply Chain & Logistics Officer at Blue Apron, BARK, Gilt.com, and Rent the Runway. In addition, we recruited Joel Sporleder to join our team in July 2024; Joel has a 30-year career as a technology executive for Walmart, Tyson & AutoZone. I’m thrilled that Tanner Green, my co-founder, will be succeeding me as CEO. Tanner has been a part of Ox since the beginning; with his leadership, I am confident that we will stay true to our original vision while forging a new path ahead. The team we’ve built is remarkable, and I’m excited to remain involved in the Executive Chairman role as Ox continues to scale. For those of you who are curious about what I’m doing next? The honest answer: I don’t know. But I’m excited to explore the possibilities!
