It’s amazing to see the impact Fabrio is having at Imperial College London, streamlining CAD education for both professors and students. Thank you, Connor Myant, for taking the time to discuss how Fabrio’s making a difference!
Fabrio
E-learning
We bring industry level engineering to the classroom, integrating directly into Fusion 360 to provide instant feedback.
About us
We provide structured courses catering for different learning styles, with real-time marking and feedback, educating industry-level software to secondary school children giving them valuable technical skills for their future. Students will work through the courses, and their work is checked throughout, whether it’s quiz answers or any design work they do within Fusion 360. Fabrio integrates directly into these programs to make sure students are on the right track and summarises this on a teacher dashboard. This frees up teachers to walk through the class, speaking to students in a more casual way and allowing teachers to decide where their time is best spent.

"One of the main benefits of using Fabrio, is I've actually been able to reduce the number of TAs by 60-80%" We sat down with Will Newton from Swansea University to learn how he uses Fabrio with his students. Check out the video below!

Can you spot the difference between these two CAD files? Neither could we… And that’s the problem. Educators receive thousands of submissions from students each year. How can they confidently determine if a project is genuinely original or a copy of someone else’s work? At Fabrio, we’ve tackled this challenge head-on with a plagiarism detection tool specifically designed for CAD files. Released this year, this innovative feature helps educators effortlessly verify the authenticity of student submissions. Here’s how it works: Each time a student uses the “Check My Work” feature in Fabrio, the file is tagged with key attributes, including the structure of the CAD model. This enables educators to compare submissions across an institution, ensuring fairness and academic integrity. Curious about how Fabrio can enhance your CAD instruction? We’d love to show you how it works. Reach out today! #EdTech #AI #CADEducation #PlagiarismDetection

50-minute Design and Technology lessons are way too short! Between getting equipment out, setting up, and packing away, you're often left with just 30 minutes for actual learning. 😩 That’s why we created the 5-Minute Tools Pathway: Bite-sized, 5-minute courses that teach students the basics of CAD tools, like extrude or spline. Quick, effective, and easy to fit in at the start or end of any lesson. 💡 Here are a few educator favorites: 👇👇👇👇 🛠 Fillet Tool Skills: Fillets Time: 5 minutes 🛠 Chamfer Tool Skills: Chamfers Time: 5 minutes These quick lessons make CAD more accessible and easy to teach, even in the shortest classes. Ready to give them a go? Check out the full list on Fabrio!
