It's hard to think of a topic that has been as widely discussed in the advertising and publishing worlds as the end of third-party cookies. 🍪 Despite several delays, the belief was that once Google had finally dropped support for these in its Chrome browser, that would be it. Job done – adios cookies. 👋 But Google’s U-turn earlier this year means that third-party cookies will continue, although Chrome users will be able to disable them – much like they can in other browsers. Meanwhile, Google will keep developing alternative solutions that prioritize privacy.🕵♂️ Confused? You're not the only one. In our latest article, we take a look at why this has all happened, what else is changing, and, crucially, what it all means for advertisers, publishers, and everyone else. How exactly are Content Credentials incorporated into SmartFrame images? 🤔 Last month, SmartFrame's Patrick Krupa and Francesco Calabretta joined representatives from Pixelstream, Inc. and Adobe at the Content Authenticity Initiative's very first UX Working Session! 🙌 The goal of the session was to share "knowledge on best practices for how consumers interact with and experience Content Credentials online". And while the session itself was limited to CAI members, the CAI has now released highlights from the session that anyone can view, which include a brief demonstration of SmartFrame's integration of Content Credentials from Francesco. 🎬 You can watch the full highlights here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gsukEbak #ContentCredentials
