This role will contribute transformational & strategic change initiatives that support the values and culture of the MauBank and enables delivery of business and strategic imperatives. The Specialist – Change and Innovation is responsible for identifying and developing new ideas, products, services, or processes and may be tasked with coming up with entirely new concepts or focus on improving existing products or services. Regardless of the specific role, the Specialist – Change and Innovation must have an eye for spotting opportunities that others might miss.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply change management processes and tools to support implementation of projects and drive the Bank’s digital transformation initiatives.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of IT changes by prioritizing change requests, assessing their impact, and accepting or rejecting changes while documenting change management processes and change plans.
  • Support the development of an effective change and innovation strategy based on a situational awareness of the details that will help the Bank to expand its services and improve its processes.
  • Analyzing customer feedback to identify potential improvements to existing products or processes and identify problem areas in the customer experience and leverage technology to improve efficiency and convenience for consumers.
  • Conducting research to identify new technologies or business trends that could impact the organization’s operations or bottom line
  • Working with management to develop long-term strategies for the organization’s growth and success to stay ahead of competition.
  • Recommending changes to products, services, or processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs without sacrificing quality to meet the Bank’s objectives and enforce innovation initiatives across the departments.
  • Conducting market research to identify opportunities for new products or services that meet customers’ needs.

 PREREQUISITES:

  • Degree in ICT, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields from a recognized University.
  • Sound experience and proven track record of at least 5years, preferably in the consulting or financial services industry.

SKILLS:

  • Proficient in developing and delivering comprehensive business and technology plans tailored for the financial services sector, showcasing expertise in financial analysis, modeling, statistical analysis, and relevant software.
  • Experience in offering strategic insight into industry, consumer and competitor trends.
  • Experience with strategy development or assessment in industries undergoing rapid transformation.
  • Ability to interact with senior leaders from a variety of international organizations, multilateral financial institutions, s, corporations, and governments.
  • Ability to respond and adjust quickly and effectively to changing circumstances and to create and communicate a clear and compelling vision and strategy for the future.
  • Six sigma green Belt will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
