Secil is a business group founded in Portugal whose activity is based on the production and sale of cement, concrete, aggregates, mortars and hydraulic lime. It also integrates companies that operate in complementary areas in the circular economy, in the use of waste as a source of energy.
Since 2016, Secil operates a maritime terminal located in the Port of Terneuzen, close to the border with Belgium.
This terminal has a storage capacity of over 25 thousand tonnes of cement. The cement is supplied by vessels of 6 thousand tonnes, directly from our plant in Outão (Portugal).
All cement available in the terminal is certified by Dutch, Belgian and French accreditation bodies, namely KOMO, BENOR and AFNOR. They are subject to strict and permanent quality control procedures, all the way from production to their placing in the market.
The terminal has a 24/7 automatic dispatch system, allowing great flexibility to our haulage partners and customers.
