RACINE, WI, March 2, 2006 -- At its corporate headquarters that manufactures flow measurement systems and construction equipment, Racine Federated Inc. celebrates its 35th anniversary. The company was established in 1970 by the late John Erskine Sr. and the late George Miller. They brought together a number of former Racine Hydraulics personnel and proceeded to assemble a diverse group of businesses and product lines. Today, Racine Federated products are sold under Blancett, Flo-Tech, Hedland, Dynasonics, Preso, Wyco, and Racine Vortex names.
To celebrate its anniversary, Racine Federated held its annual Christmas party where each employee was presented with an appreciation gift and letter from President John Erskine, Jr. "Our success has been built through the efforts of the employees, friends of the company and the Racine community," said Erskine Jr. "I want to thank everyone for their many contributions and hope that each employee is proud of this success."
In 2004, Racine Federated (www.racinefed.com) moved from two building to its current 160,000-square-foot structure. Part of moving to a new building was to consolidate all divisions under one roof to gain efficiencies. Preso was originally located in Plattsburg, NY, and Blancett in Ft. Worth, TX. Racine Federated employs approximately 120 employees at its Racine, WI, location.
