DO NOT USE BILL.COM

Using them was such a horrible expereince. The software is very outdated.

We had such a horrible experience we canceled our service.

Upon canceling - they delete all the data on your account so you can no longer log in anymore.

They ended up charging us an extra month AFTER canceling and you CAN'T contact anyone at the company without having an account.

This should be illegal.

Great Solution for SMBs

Divvy is a great solution for small businesses looking to track their spending by team member or by category. It's easy to setup and use, and transferring available funds is super quick and simple. However, the payment options are limited, and payments take ages to post to the account.

Bill Spend & Expense a must have for Tracking your Spending

Bill is a well-developed, intuitive, and efficient tool for managing spending and expenses. It integrates with other software very well, is completely free, and even has credit card points! Their web and mobile app make is easy for you to setup budgets and limit spending. Each user can start spending within minutes and can snap receipts and categorize transactions on the fly. It helps make bookkeeping 100 times easier.

I wish my last company used this platform to make credit card spend easier to track

Pros: I like that receipts are able to be easily uploaded to the website. This makes credit card spending easier to track. I also enjoy the ability to have users pick their own expense category.
Con: I wish I received an email when a user requested additional funds to their card.

BILL Spend & Expense is just plain…

BILL Spend & Expense is just plain EASY! It is easy to set up different budgets, access to budgets, coding for your financial software. There's no other way to say it - it has streamlined our travel expenditures and made it easy for employees on the go. No more lost receipts, take a picture right at the restaurant of your receipt, and code it right there - it takes seconds to record expenses.

Great experience

This makes financial controls and collecting receipts really easy. We can set budgets, adjust them on a moment's notice, and receipts can be added often while staff are still at the store or in their car right after. With the sync to Quickbooks Online, we can code our projects and grants, and dramatically reduce data entry.

Highly Recommend

Bill Spend & Expense has made our credit card recon process extremely fast. It has completely eliminated having to chase down receipts during month end which was always the biggest headache. Also, Bill Spend & Expense has cut our spending significantly due to the fact that cardholders have real time transparency as what they are spending on a day to day basis. Overall I would recommend this to any company who would like to speed up processes.

I used Divvy at a former employer and…

I used Divvy at a former employer and fell in love with it. It was a no brainer for me as I started my own company to get hooked up with Divvy. Here's a few reasons I couldn't use anything else!
- Real time receipt tracking & reconciliation
- Virtual cards (for fraud & auto reconciliation)
- Budget management for employee usage
- QBO integration

Bill Spend and Expense is a money saving machine!

Bill Spend and Expense is great! The platform is easy to navigate, and customer service is excellent. You'll be talking to a representative within minutes. You can control everything from online. It is so easy to order a new card, freeze or cancel a card and modify credit limits. We're so happy we left our previous provider. Bill Spend and Expense will save your team many hours and your staff will enjoy all the transparency they have.

Extremely easy for both administrators and team members

Very easy for the team to use and for administration to set up. Easy to move budgets from one team member to another, make temporary adjustments, etc. Easy to get cards for new team members. Coding of expenses is easy, uploading receipts is easy, requesting reimbursement for mileage and out of pocket expenses is easy. Redeeming rewards points is easy, but this does take longer than you'd think. Approvals are easy, and assigning approvers is easy.

Bill Spend & Expense

Bill Spend & Expense - Reimbursement
Setup to pay an employee mileage that was missed on his paycheck thinking it would be faster than mailing a check to him. Started the process on 5/8/24 with approval and everything completed on our end on 5/8/24. Funds withdrawn from our bank account on 5/10/24 and here it is 5/15/24 and employee still has not received his money. Employee deposit is by ACH and withdrawal of funds from our account was also ACH so you would think by Monday he would have had his money but nope he is still waiting. Will not use the reimbursement feature ever again as I could have mailed a check to him and he would have received it faster than this.

As an organization we're saving time…

As an organization we're saving time using Divvy. It's easy to upload receipts and code expenses. Divvy integrates with Quickbooks Online so all the expenses map directly to QB. We've been using Divvy for about 8 months now and love it. Training modules could be done better but the customer service was quick to respond to questions.

Big fan, very simple

Big fan, Divvy is like expensify except you don't have to pay for the app. We just integrated our budget and GL codes into Divvy and now every employee that travels or has an expense can just use app to enter it in. It's saved us a ton of time and money because accounting doesn't have to do any work on these types of expenses.

End Manual Expense Reporting

My company was looking for a simple, automated way to monitor our credit card spending as well as eliminate manual expense reports and receipts. BILL met our needs and helped us get up and running a few short weeks. Their staff responds in a timely manner and is willing to help streamline the process.

BILL S&E (Divvy.com) has been a great…

BILL S&E (Divvy.com) has been a great platform and an alternative to other Business Chargecards like Amex. The most noticeable factor is the ease of use for the portal and simplicity of the whole UX/UI portal overall. Contrary Amex@work portal reminds of a jungle, where almost every feature activation (even online ACH payment) requires a time-consuming bureaucratic input with additional forms to be submitted and etc.

From my own knowledge, Bill S&E (Divvy) is being used not by our company, but also a lot of well known finance corporations, who are soon to go IPO.

The most user friendly credit card expense management tool

We have been using Bill Spend & Expense for over a year now and I can't believe how many improvement they have made in such a short time. It's the most user friendly credit card expense management tool. Very intuitive and simple. The automatization and receipt matching keeps getting improved.
It would be great if they would add automated allocation tool for when you need to allocate expense to multiple departments.

Love that it's easy to use

Love that it's easy to use, receipts are required and the approval process. Love that the app is available but computer access is there as well. It syncs really well with Quickbooks Online and put the receipts there as well. Makes auditing and documentation so much easier.

Bill.com has the potential to be MUCH Better, but it's OK

Bill.com's reporting could be better along with their support team. Their support team wasn't qualified when I needed more technical answers about their product. Overall, bill.com worked for my order, but there were other issues like not having their AI pick up PO numbers on our invoices and having a limited amount of sections for coding our invoices. I would've given them a 3.5 but it wasn't available. Not a bad product though. They are continuing to improve on their product!

On the Expense side - I wish there were better controls to automate coding at the Budget level for team members. There is a way currently, but it's manual

So much easier!

As a nonprofit leader, I often have to provide proof of expenditures. BILL Spend & Expense lets everyone on my team have appropriate access to funds, and they can categorize them in the buckets that make sense to us. Plus, if I want to change their selections (that's Public Relations, not Marketing!) I can easily do it.

Easy to use platform on the desktop, plus mobile access to all the same features. Love it.
