We are pleased to share that we have made our annual donation to UNICEF. This is a result of the commitment we made to our customers; during our annual customer survey we promised that for every customer who completed the survey we would make a £1 donation to UNICEF. We have donated a total of £7,268. Thank you to our customers for their participation in our survey. We are proud to support this global charity, who provide vital care for those less fortunate.

As part of our commitment to a sustainable future, our ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) strategy includes a pillar for ‘Our Communities’. All our colleagues are encouraged to use their annual volunteer day to participate in community engagement activities in their local area. Our team in Rayong, Thailand recently completed a litter pick at a beach near the site (Phala Beach). On the day they also presented donations to the Camillian Social Center Rayong, who provide assistance for people living with HIV/AIDs with a special emphasis on orphans and women. A great effort from our Rayong team.

International Men's Day is celebrated worldwide on 19 November. The theme for 2024 is "Positive Male Role Models". At Essentra, we are marking International Men's Day with events at our global sites inviting colleagues to come together and have conversations to raise awareness of men's wellbeing and share the things they do to prioritise their mental health. During the month, we are also encouraging colleagues to take an hour to do something to support their mental wellbeing. Many of our colleagues are taking part in Movember, growing moustaches during November to raise awareness of men's health and fundraise for the charity.
