They keep spamming me over and over

So you admit to sending marketing emails, SPAM!!!, why do you not make it a one click to unsubscribe?? I keep getting spam mails from a Ryan Monero who will not remove me from his spam list. That's all I'm asking. STOP SPAMMING ME!! Also, you have no easy contact link on your website which is also a very big red flag!!

They keep spamming me over and over, and I do trust any of those 5 star reviews they have!! Legit companies do not keep spamming you! To many real companies to use instead of supporting a spammer. and I did try to report this to them, however they want way to much personal info on their contact form. and you can't reply to the spam emails they just block them.

Outstanding Service and Versatile Virtual Assistants...

I hired my virtual assistant through Virtual Gurus, and all I can say is wow. Initially, we brought them on board to handle some general administrative work, but our Executive Assistant (EA) went above and beyond our expectations. She now manages our bookkeeping, marketing, and all of our administrative tasks with exceptional efficiency.

Virtual Assistant

My VA Barbara has been with me for 3 years and I could not ask for a better team member to assist me with getting tasks done so that I could grow my business. She is extremely efficient and has assisted me with the daily work flow so that I am no longer feeling overwhelmed. This has allowed me to find a better work/life balance which I was looking for. I can count on her to get the job done. I am extremely pleased with the support she has provided me.

First-class EA Support

I approached Virtual Gurus for support scaling my product coaching business and keeping my sanity as a mother and ambitious professional late last year. Unlike other VA sales team I spoke to, Rebecca Ajayi Ayokunle was stellar at listening to my needs and my Client Success Manager, Taylor Nelson, has been kind, supportive and impressively responsive.

I was matched with Shehmeen Bhatia who is so much more than an EA. Her attitude is relentlessly positive and she has greatly increased my capacity to work on higher-level priorities to grow my business AND stay organized as an endlessly busy parent.

I'm very grateful I made the decision to hire a VA and genuinely highly recommend Virtual Gurus.

Very happy with Virtual Gurus

For the past two years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with Virtual Gurus, benefiting greatly from the exceptional support provided by their executive and virtual assistants. Their dedicated client management team has consistently impressed me with their ability to match me with highly competent candidates. In particular, my current EA, Johanna K., has played an indispensable role in the growth and management of my company.

Johanna has served as an integral Chief of Staff, adeptly handling various responsibilities including employee management, vendor procurement, fostering vendor relations, and overseeing project management initiatives. Our collaboration is marked by regular quarterly and annual reviews where we meticulously assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and diligently track progress towards achieving our goals.

One aspect that sets Virtual Gurus apart is their flexibility in accommodating my evolving needs. They've seamlessly allowed me to adjust my monthly hourly package to align with fluctuations in workload, making the decision to continue our partnership an obvious one. My experience with Virtual Gurus has been nothing short of exemplary, and I look forward to our continued collaboration.

Couldn't even get a basic admin for Gsuite

Needed an assistant who could schedule team meetings once a month internally for my company. They wasted my time for a month and couldn't find someone who could use google calendar, write agendas and use labels in email, and coordinate over slack. Very disappointed as I've found better candidates over fiver and upwork. Now they're refusing to give a full refund - this place is a scam and their candidates are not trained to do basic Gsuite work. Save your money and time

The company is bipoc and queer owned

The company is bipoc and queer owned. So it seems that this would be worth an investment for a model that operates with honest and equitable standards. However that is not the case. And they pay their assistants minimum wage at $15 bit charge 31 to 35 an hour.

The Virtual Guru in house support staff seem to work very hard and around the clock.
The virtual assistants are a hit or miss.

My first virtual assistant did not work out. And I asked for a task to be completed where more than five hours and been spent and only one hour had been allotted. When the assistant sent same Incomplete link the staff said they cannot be held accountable and for a loss of two months of work and loosing clients they would allow me to take two hours back and find another virtual assistant.
The next trial was short and had spotty communication. Even after coaching they were not able to deliver a one hour task within a week.

After much debate for refund, a final trial assistant was assigned. It was informed this was someone reliable and with good reviews. And if I chose not to continue then I could receive two free hours upon my return with company in the future. This was without acknowledgment of the multiple monthly payments that would not be returned or provided services for.

After some tasks and meetings the final assistant had asked for more hours for our trial, but they were not provided. Then apparently she mentioned that she quit her role to the company, and I did not hear from again informed the company for which they did not respond for a month. And then escalated my refund for multiple months of unused hours despite my willingness to try multiple assistants.

Upon sending my final trial assistant an inquiry a couple months later asking for what happened, they mentioned they informed the company they resigned... And was not sure why the company failed to mention this.

The issue was still not resolved and management mentioned most of hours were used and they would do a favor and provide five hours reimbursement. Each assistant sent screen shot of hours and weekly submitted reports to show they had not provided false numbers and were indeed the same as mine and the rest of the staff. An assistant mentioned numerous client of theirs have mentioned similar problems. So I was not the first with this experience.

However, even after five attempts in writing, leadership provided no evidence and said giving five extra hours of reimbursement was fair and said I was arguing and their systems were accurate (even though no evidence was shown and client mentioned they had screen shots of time log and weekly reports from each assistant.
They are comfortable justifying their false numbers and don't show any evidence nor resolution despite numerous emails to leadership, who are third level of contact after the issue being escalated.

Pluck the weeds, and the flowers will grow

I am a published freelance writer and editor who specializes in marketing, advertising, and e-commerce. Hoping to partner with thevirtualgurus.com, I noticed that there were no reviews on Trustpilot. After further research, I discovered why. As a freelance professional, it is challenging to compete with the "weekend warriors" and the "I could do that" individuals often found on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and Clear Voice.

I am currently undergoing a rigorous, job-specific vetting process required by the gurus. It is refreshing to know that a company is taking its due diligence in vetting its freelancers seriously. This provides clients with highly vetted and skilled freelancers, while also giving us peace of mind that we are not competing with low-quality, AI-generated material at a discounted price. The gurus are leading the way in filtering out AI-generated content and low-quality work, providing companies with fresh insights and consistent quality work from the freelancers they hire.

The entire vetting process is recorded and reviewed before freelancers are allowed to communicate with client companies. I still have about 3-4 hours of work left to complete the vetting process, but I am confident that I will meet the minimum requirements to join such a professional company as the gurus.
