  • 🇨🇭🇺🇦Switzerland has unveiled a comprehensive 12-year plan to support Ukraine’s reconstruction and sustainable development, pledging a total of CHF 5 billion through 2036. In the initial phase, from 2025 to 2028, CHF 1.5 billion will be allocated to key areas: • Economic Recovery: Assisting Ukrainian SMEs in accessing global markets, revitalizing urban infrastructure, and repairing war-damaged facilities, especially in frontline regions. • Public Services: Enhancing healthcare, education, social services, energy supply, public transport, and water facilities to provide a solid foundation for Ukrainians, including those considering returning home. • Protection & Peace: Delivering emergency aid, supporting humanitarian demining, locating and identifying missing persons, and documenting violations of international humanitarian law and human rights. This initiative builds upon Switzerland’s previous contributions, which include over CHF 3 billion in financial and humanitarian aid since 2022, support for Ukrainian refugees, and active participation in international advocacy for Ukraine’s sovereignty and reconstruction. Ambassador Jacques Gerber, appointed as the Federal Council’s delegate for Ukraine, will oversee the implementation of this country program. The plan emphasizes collaboration with Swiss companies, dedicating approximately CHF 500 million for reconstruction projects in partnership with the private sector. This approach ensures a systematic and legally sound contribution to Ukraine’s recovery, reflecting Switzerland’s long-standing commitment to global solidarity and peacebuilding. Throughout the event, we engaged in thought-provoking discussions covering key global challenges and opportunities: ⚛️ Quantum Computing — a revolutionary technology with the potential to transform AI, finance, cryptography, and more. 🤖 Artificial Intelligence (AI) — how AI is rapidly integrating into industries, reshaping economies, and raising new questions about sustainability. 🛡️ Cybersecurity & Data Protection — as digital threats grow, securing data and building resilient infrastructures is more critical than ever. ⚡ Energy Transition — with AI’s rising energy demands, the need for sustainable, renewable energy solutions is urgent. 🌍 Geopolitical Dynamics — from the future of Western democracies to shifts in global power, key decisions today will define tomorrow. One of the event’s highlights was our meeting with Andriy Kolodyuk, Chairman of the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA), founder of AVentures Capital, WEF Young Global Leader (YGL), and investor in Spin.AI .
