We are proud to announce that our CEO had the privilege of speaking at the UL International Conclave on Sustainable Construction, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan. The conclave brought together thought leaders, innovators, and policymakers to address the pressing challenges of sustainability in construction and explore transformative solutions for the industry. At Tvasta, our mission is deeply rooted in creating sustainable and efficient construction practices. This event provided an opportunity to share our vision, highlight the role of 3D printing in reducing environmental impact, and discuss pathways to a future where construction aligns seamlessly with ecological balance. We’re excited to continue contributing to meaningful dialogues and initiatives that shape a more responsible and resilient built environment.

🏗️ VIRGINIA JUST DROPPED THE BIGGEST SIGNAL YET FOR THE FUTURE OF 3DCP CONSTRUCTION While everyone's talking about AI, Virginia's quietly building the most advanced construction regulatory framework in America. Here's the alpha 🧵 Breaking: Virginia Housing just dropped $1.1M on the state's first mobile 3D concrete printer. But that's just the tip of the iceberg... The meta story here is WILD: - First state to adopt ICC modular code ✅ - Own industrialized building handbook ✅ - State-level seal of approval process ✅ And now: 3D printing at scale 🚀 Why this matters: REGULATORY MOAT While other states are still debating if 3D printing is "real," Virginia's already built the regulatory infrastructure to scale it. This is AWS-level infrastructure play, but for construction. SPEED-TO-MARKET ADVANTAGE The numbers are insane: -Traditional build: 7-9 months - 3D printed home: 21 days That's 90% faster. Full stop. ECOSYSTEM PLAY They're not just buying tech - they're building an entire ecosystem: - Virginia Tech research partnership - Worker training programs - Supply chain optimization - Multi-site deployment strategy The big brain move? They're testing 10 homes across different sites by 2026. This isn't a pilot project - it's a scalability test. THE TECH IS DIFFERENT Their printer choice (Tvasta SIRA RC 20) is fascinating: - Robotic arm vs. gantry system - Mobile deployment - Low-carbon concrete capability - Only the second one in the US 👀 FUTURE PROOF Virginia's not just solving for today's housing crisis - they're building tomorrow's construction industry: - Modular code integration - Industrialized building standards - 3D printing capabilities - Workforce development The macro view? While everyone else is playing checkers, Virginia's playing 5D chess. They're not just approving new construction tech - they're building the entire regulatory, educational, and infrastructure stack to scale it. This is what real innovation looks like. Not press releases, but infrastructure. 💡 Key prediction: We'll look back at this moment as when construction tech hit its "AWS moment" - when the infrastructure finally caught up with the innovation. On November 24, 2024, CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee successfully inaugurated the National Earthquake Engineering Test Facility (NEETF) and 3D Concrete Printing Facility, first-of-their-kind in India, in the presence of Shri K. Srinivas, Secretary, MoHUA. NEETF enables full-scale seismic testing of buildings up to 12m height under reverse cyclic and pseudo-dynamic loading, enhancing research on earthquake safety and retrofit technologies. The 3D Concrete Printing Facility focuses on eco-friendly, cost-effective construction using agro-industrial waste and advanced rheological design. Director Prof. R. Pradeep Kumar emphasized the institute's commitment to advancing climate-resilient and safe construction technologies. Congratulations to the team for this remarkable achievement!
