GRANDMA WILD'S
Grandma Wild's family business, now in its fourth generation, carries on her great grandmother's tradition of baking biscuits with a number of the same recipes she created over 100 years ago. In 1899, Wild's Bakery was established in the Victorian seaside resort of Morecambe, Lancashire. As well as running the bakery shop and boarding house (today's Bed &Breakfast), Annie Wild was a full-time mother of three boys. John Wild, her eldest son, moved back to his Yorkshire roots in the 1920s, away from the seasonal summer trade, and he and Annie opened a shop in Haworth. From here they began building the heritage of Grandma Wild's special baking recipes.
