GROUP CORTEX
Group Cortex was founded in 1993 as the midatlantic region's premier Internet consulting firm. They built the first websites for such brands as Campbell's Soup, VWR Scientific, Rhone Poulenc Roher, and US Healthcare. Additionally, they were the creators of SiteTrack, the first product to use the Netscape server NSAPI. SiteTrack which added user session tracking to web sites, before HTTP Cookies existed, and gave marketers access to analytics on their web site visitors. Group Cortex was acquired in an all stock transactions by Answerthink Consulting Group (Now the Hackett Group) in 1999.
