The two most common laser wave modulation techniques on the market are amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM). The traditional AM LiDAR is easy to be interfered, so it is difficult to calculate and prone to mistakes. The Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) tech can reduce the amount of calculation and improve the tolerance of external interference.
